 When the filter cake layer is formed on the surface of the filter cloth, the real filter medium is the filter cake layer, so it is filtered through the membrane filter, which is usually filtered through the filter cake layer.To filter some suspensions with a very low solid content, the filter cloth could not simply be used as a filter medium to obtain the clarified filters.A more common method is to form a chemically stable and clean precoating on the surface of the filter cloth.The layer of precoating as a filter medium is called precoating.

 The liquid content of the filter cake is a technical indicator of special interest to the separator filter press.The filter cake layer on the filter cloth surface is squeezed through the whole filter cake layer, so its sealing ability is greater than the other parts. The filter cake in contact with the suspension is loose as the thickness of the filter cake increases. The filter cake layer on both sides of the filter room is connected, and the liquid content of the middle part is in the semi-current state.
